Rationality For Mortals
by Gerd Gigerenzer
If you have a STEM background this book is great for expanding your knowledge about statistics and the fallacy of it. In the first part it is demonstrated how in social systems it is better to use simple heuristics instead of optimizing, i.e. ignoring some informations about the environment lead to better predictions than neural networks. In the second part of the book, it is shown how most researchers are prone to pubblish or perish, rather than creating work of value for the research community.

Thus Spoke Zarathustra
by Friedrich Nietzsche
This book is one of the most dangerous about philosophy I've ever read, it's pretty aggressive and willing to destroy cultural moral values, bringing the reader to re-think about his human condition with his own mind, instead of following other's ideals: "Better be a fool on one's own account, than a sage on other people's approbation!". It's hard to read, but it's definitely enjoyable and worth the time if you like narrative-like philosophical books.

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior
by Dan Millman
The best narrative book i've read in 2024. I will read it again in the future, because the amount of wisdom i received in this book is unreachable by any other self-growth book.

Mathematica
by David Bessis
I wished I've read this book before starting University. In the end i've read it literally after achieving my Master's Degree and it's a pity, simply because this book taught me how to learn to learn Mathematics. In some way, after 5 years of University, i managed to find my way on studying Math and Physics, but this book is expanding the possibilities. It's not about learning by heart some formulas, it's not about remembering very long equations. It is literally feeling the math inside you. Best book i've read on how to approach Mathematics.

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August
by Claire North
Great narrative book about Harry, which was given the gift to be a Non Linear Human Being, living more than once the World War I & II. Whenever he dies, he will birth again at the same time and place of his birthday.
